Corrections

If we get something wrong, we fix it in the open and log it here.

Policy

• What counts: a wrong number, a wrong or missing source, a misquoted claim, or a verdict the corrected evidence no longer supports.
• How we fix it: we correct the check itself, add a dated note at the top of the affected claim saying what changed and why, and record it in the log below. We don't silently edit or delete verdicts.
• Verdict changes are always logged, including changes caused by later data (for example, a game played after the check was published).
• Speed: we aim to review reported errors within 2 business days.
• How to report: reply to or mention @LineOfEvidence_ on X with a link to the check and the source you think we missed. (Email reporting will open when hello@lineofevidence.com is live.)
